You take the trays home and wear the gel-filled trays each night or for several hours during the day for 1 to 2 weeks.
While you have over-the-counter whitening kits, they usually aren`t as effective as professional whitening procedures. Because the over-the-counter trays are not custom fitted, the whitening agent may leak out and irritate your gums.

For a power-whitening treatment, we first protect your gums, and then apply a concentrated whitening agent. here are two different bleaching technologies:
Home bleaching, that can be carried out by the patient at home. The patient will wear for ca. 2 weeks at night a transparent dental splint filled with bleaching gel. This splint was manufactured before, according to an impression. The teeth will be cleaned professionally by the dentist, including a scaling treatment. Please make sure you brush your teeth thoroughky before you wear the splint.
